Brief Bio

In Japanese mythology, Ame-no-Nuboko (天沼矛), also known as the Heavenly Jeweled Spear, is a divine spear used by the deities Izanagi and Izanami to create the first islands of Japan. According to the Kojiki (Records of Ancient Matters), they stirred the primordial sea with the spear, and the salty drops that fell formed the island of Onogoro-shima.
