Brief Bio
Yggdrasil - World Tree and its roots draw water from three mystical wells: Urðarbrunnr (a well of fate, tended by the Norns), Mímisbrunnr (a well of wisdom), and Hvergelmir (a well of boiling water).
Urðarbrunnr (Well of Fate): Located in Asgard, the home of the gods, this spring is where the Norns, beings of fate, reside and care for the tree. The Norns use its water to tend to the tree's roots, and they also weave the destinies of mortals and gods at this well.
Mímisbrunnr (Well of Wisdom): Situated in Jotunheim, the realm of the giants, this well contains immeasurable knowledge. The chief god Odin sacrificed one of his eyes to Mímisbrunnr to gain a drink from its waters, a profound act that granted him immense wisdom.
Hvergelmir (Boiling Spring): Located in Niflheim, the realm of ice and mist, Hvergelmir is a spring of boiling water where the dragon Níðhöggr gnaws at the roots of the World Tree.
