In Norse mythology, Vanaheim (or Vanaheimr) is the home of the Vanir, a powerful clan of gods distinct from the Aesir, associated with nature, fertility, and magic. Little is described about its exact nature, but it's generally believed to be a beautiful and bountiful realm. Vanaheim is central to the war between the Aesir and Vanir, which ended in a peace treaty and hostage exchange, with some Vanir, like Njord, Freyr, and Freyja, eventually living in Asgard.
