Brief Bio
In Norse mythology and more accurately in Norwegian folklore, the Deildegast (meaning "border-stone ghost") is a type of gjenganger (or ghost) of a person who moved boundary stones to enlarge their land during their lifetime. This act incurred a curse, preventing the individual from finding peace in the afterlife. They are forced to return to the living world to try and correct the stolen land by moving the stones back, but the stones would always slip from their spectral hands, ensuring they could never complete their task and find peace
