Brief Bio
Tezcatlipoca, also known as the "Smoking Mirror," was one of the four principal Aztec gods. He was a powerful and complex deity associated with night, sorcery, kingship, beauty, war, and discord. He was often depicted with a mirror in place of one of his feet. He has anthropomorphic forms and numerous other aspect "forms" such as Tepeyollotl the wind god
Tezcatlipoca was a rival to Quetzalcoatl, another major Aztec god, and their stories often involve conflict and trickery. He was a capricious god, capable of both great good and great harm, and was both feared and revered by the Aztecs.
