In Mesoamerican mythology, Ometecuhtli and Omecihuatl represent the dualistic creator god, Ometeotl, in Aztec cosmology. They are the male and female aspects of this primordial deity, often referred to as the "Lord and Lady of Duality" or the "Lord and Lady of Our Sustenance". They are believed to have resided in the highest heaven, Omeyocan, and are credited with creating the universe and the other Aztec gods.
