Brief Bio

In Maya mythology, Zipacna is a powerful demon, often depicted as a giant caiman (a crocodile-like creature), known for his arrogance and association with mountains. He is the son of Vucub Caquix and Chimalmat and brother to Cabrakan (Earthquake). Zipacna was ultimately defeated by the Maya Hero Twins, Hunahpu and Xbalanque, through trickery and a clever trap involving a fake crab and a collapsing mountain.
