Brief Bio
In Aztec mythology, the Centzonhuītznāhua (also spelled Centzon Huītznāuhtin) are a group of deities representing the southern stars. They are the 400 sons of the goddess Cōātlīcue, and their sister is Coyolxāuhqui. The Centzonhuītznāhua, along with Coyolxāuhqui, attempted to kill their mother due to her unexpected pregnancy with Huītzilōpōchtli, but their plot was foiled when Huītzilōpōchtli emerged fully formed and defeated them.
