Brief Bio

Sarutahiko Ōkami is a prominent deity in Japanese mythology, known as the guardian of the crossroads and god of guidance, strength, and protection. He is often depicted as a towering figure with a long nose, ruddy face, and a large beard. He is associated with the earthly realm (kunitsukami) and is considered the leader of these deities.

Ōkami is seen as a symbol of Misogi (The Purification Ritual), strength and guidance, which is why he is the patron of martial arts such as aikido.
