Brief Bio

In Japanese folklore, the Ninmenju (also known as Jinmenju) is a mythical tree that bears flowers shaped like human heads, often with beautiful women's faces. These "blossoms" can laugh, smile, and even express other emotions, but excessive laughter can cause them to wilt and fall from the tree. The tree and its fruit, which is said to be sweet and sour, are considered a type of yokai or yaoguai, supernatural beings in Japanese and Chinese folklore.
