Brief Bio

In Japanese mythology, Ninigi-no-Mikoto is a prominent figure, often referred to as the grandson of the sun goddess Amaterasu. He is known for descending from the heavens to establish the imperial lineage on Earth. Amaterasu, his grandmother, tasked him with bringing order and prosperity to the mortal realm. He is credited with bringing the three sacred regalia of Japan: the sword (Kusanagi), the mirror (Yata no Kagami), and the jewel (Yasakani no Magatama).
