Brief Bio

Miage-nyūdō, also known as Mikoshi-nyūdō, is a terrifying yokai (supernatural being) in Japanese folklore that grows taller the more you look up at it. It is often depicted as a large, bald, and sometimes cross-eyed figure resembling a Buddhist monk or priest. It typically appears at night to lone travelers, especially at crossroads, bridges, or on empty streets.
