Brief Bio

In Japanese mythology, the Kotoamatsukami (別天津神) are the first five deities that came into existence at the time of the creation of the universe. They are also known as the "Distinguishing Heavenly Deities" and are considered primordial gods, born in Takamagahara (the Plain of High Heaven) without any procreation.
