Brief Bio 

In Japanese mythology, Kannon (観音), also known as Kanzeon, is the Japanese name for the Buddhist bodhisattva of compassion, Avalokiteśvara. She is revered as a powerful deity who offers protection and salvation to those who call upon her, particularly from suffering. Kannon is one of the most popular and widely worshipped deities in Japan, often depicted in various forms, including the Thousand-Armed Kannon, and is closely associated with Amida Buddha.
