Brief Bio

In Japanese folklore, the Kamaitachi (鎌鼬) is a yōkai, or supernatural creature, often depicted as a weasel-like being that causes sudden, bloodless cuts, typically associated with cold, windy weather, especially in mountainous regions. They are not always literally weasels, but their name includes "itachi" (weasel).
