Brief Bio

In Japanese folklore, a Jubokko is a yōkai, specifically a tree that has transformed into a supernatural being after absorbing large quantities of blood, often from battlefields or sites of mass death. These "tree children" appear like ordinary trees from a distance, but possess the ability to transform their branches into tube-like structures to suck the blood of unsuspecting humans who pass by.
