Brief Bio 

The Bake-kujira (化鯨), meaning "ghost whale," is a mythical Japanese yōkai, a supernatural creature or ghost. It's depicted as a skeletal whale, often accompanied by strange fish and birds, and is believed to be a vengeful spirit of whales killed by humans. Its appearance is a harbinger of misfortune, bringing curses, plagues, and other disasters to coastal villages.
