Brief Bio

In Japanese folklore, the Amikiri is a yokai, or supernatural creature, known for its habit of cutting nets. It's often depicted as a hybrid creature, resembling a combination of a bird, snake, and lobster, with sharp, scissor-like claws. While not inherently harmful, its penchant for shredding fishing nets and mosquito netting can cause problems for humans, particularly fishermen.
