Brief Bio

In Japanese mythology, akuma (悪魔) refers to malevolent fire spirits or demons, often associated with misfortune and evil. They are depicted as fiery beings, sometimes with flaming heads and eyes, and are known to carry swords. While the term is often translated as "devil" or "demon," it can also represent the darker aspects of the human psyche or the negative forces that cause suffering.
