Brief Bio
Calypso was born in the city of Bubastis, Egypt, in 1540 B.C. When she was a little girl, she witnessed a cat being abused. She quickly jumped into action to save the cat. She took the hurt cat home and nurtured him back to health. The cat’s name was Nova, and he was a magical cat. He granted Calypso shapeshifting powers, healing powers, and royalty.
One day, a little boy fell ill. He came to Calypso’s kingdom begging for help. Calypso then shapeshifted into a cat and began purring on him, and in whitin minutes he was back in good health. After this happened, many people came to her kingdom for healing.
She was loved and worshipped by many, but also feared by many. If you were to ever hurt a cat, then bad things would happen. You would see black cats everywhere and then begin to fall ill. The only way for them to be healed was to come to Calypo and beg her for forgiveness and healing. If she didn’t accept you, then you would be banned from this world and sent to the underworld forever.
