Brief Bio
The Gorgon sisters in Greek mythology are three terrifying female monsters—Medusa, Stheno, and Euryale—known for their snake-covered hair and deadly gaze. Among them, Medusa is the most famous; once a beautiful maiden cursed by Athena, she transformed into a hideous creature whose glance turned anyone to stone. Stheno and Euryale are her immortal sisters, also with serpentine features, but less prominent in myth.
The Gorgons symbolize chaos and danger, and Medusa’s severed head became a powerful symbol of protection, famously used as a weapon by Perseus to defeat a Cetus and and then given to Athena to insert into her shield Aegis/
