Brief Bio
Epimetheus, a Titan, was renowned for his unfortunate tendency to act before considering the consequences. His name, meaning "afterthought," perfectly encapsulates his character. Often contrasted with his brother Prometheus, Epimetheus's impulsive nature led to significant missteps. While his brother was a master strategist and provider, Epimetheus was more concerned with immediate gratification, often accepting gifts and responsibilities without fully understanding their implications. This ultimately played a crucial role in the Titanomachy and the subsequent shaping of humanity. He is remembered as a cautionary figure, a stark reminder of the dangers of hasty actions.
Epimetheus and Prometheus were entrusted with distributing the traits among the newly created animals. Epimetheus was responsible for giving a positive trait to every animal, but when it was time to give man a positive trait, lacking foresight he found that there was nothing left for them.
