Brief Bio

Coeus and Phoebe were obscure figures, and like most of the Titans played no active part in Greek mythology—but were primarily important for their descendants. They produced two daughters, Leto and Asteria. Leto through Zeus (the son of fellow Titans Cronus and Rhea) bore Artemis and Apollo. Asteria became the mother of Hecate by Perses (son of fellow Titan Crius and half-sister Eurybia).
