Brief Bio

In African mythology, werehyenas, often called bultungin or kishi, are creatures that can shapeshift between human and hyena forms. They are frequently depicted as monstrous beings with cannibalistic tendencies, capable of both terrifying humans and possessing magical abilities. Unlike werewolves, werehyenas can be either humans transforming into hyenas or hyenas disguising themselves as humans.
