Brief Bio

In Yoruba mythology, Ossain (also known as Osanyin, Ọsanyìn, or Ozain) is the orisha (deity) of herbalism, healing, and the forest. He is revered as the master of medicinal plants and is sought out by herbalists and healers for his profound knowledge of these plants' healing properties. Despite being depicted with physical imperfections like one eye, one arm, and one leg, with a mask of grass covering his face and one ear replaced by a leaf according to some sources from Yoruba mythology, he possesses perfect knowledge and is known as "the one who sees everything". He is closely associated with Orunmila, the orisha of wisdom and divination, and is considered a key figure in Ifa traditions.
