Brief Bio

In Ashanti mythology, an Obayifo is a type of vampire or witch-like creature, often described as a human with vampiric and magical abilities. They are said to inhabit the bodies of both men and women and are known for their shifty eyes and obsession with food, particularly meat. At night, they emit a phosphorescent light from their armpits and buttox while traveling. They are also associated with sucking the life out of crops and causing blights, and they are believed to drink the blood of children.
